Two kids and a kitchen....  that's how it started.  Hundreds of pounds of flour, sugar and sparkles later, Mama V. Sugar Cookies has grown into more than just a hobby.

 

Mama V. Sugar Cookies is a full custom bakery with a unique charm. We offer one-of-a-kind delicious treats that make people smile and are unlike anything else they've ever received.  The idea started in a suburban Kansas City kitchen in 2010 when Valerie Schrementi - an accomplished graphic designer for children's and cookbooks - became a stay at home Mom who needed to make some dough.  DOUGH - get it?!

After a failed attempt at pun writing, she quickly earned rave reviews for being the local cookie queen, having prepared thousands of customized cookies for corporate events and parties in the KC area and beyond. Her cookies became famous for their witty images printed in frosting, as well their taste and signature sparkle.

In 2015 Valerie moved to Southern California to pursue a career in acting and packed up the bake shop along with it.  In that time she's drawn inspiration from the LA area and baked thousands of cookies for parties and events she otherwise would have never dreamed.  Now with upgraded equipment and expanded capacity, Valerie and Mama V. Sugar Cookies is offering more product lines and ideas to bring parties to life.
